Carmela Lutz has been a professional dog trainer since 2006 and is the owner of Genius Dog Training. She has earned the designation of Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT). This certification testing covers knowledge of dog behavior and application of training techniques. Recertification is required every 3 years. She has been a Member of the Association of Professional Dog Training International (APDT). She is an American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator and is a CATCH Mentor Trainer with CATCH Canine Trainers Academy.
Genius Dog Training has been independently owned and operated since 2008.
